myvillage.com reports on Gaia-Wind's opening in Port Dundas.
Gaia-Wind, a company that manufactures small wind turbines, has today officially opened a new £5million production plant at Port Dundas in Glasgow with the creation of around 30 high value jobs. The company also plans to create another 50 jobs over the next few years. The plant will produce around 250 turbines in 2011, increasing production to 2,000 a year. Today's official opening was attended by Jim Mather MSP, Minister for Enterprise, Energy and Tourism and Glasgow SNP MSP Bob Doris.
