Gaia Wind Small Personal Wind Turbines

It is a generally accepted belief that the perceived increases in climate change are directly attributed to CO2 emissions. Gaia Wind have a great number of wind energy products available which can also help to protect the environment.
An operating Gaia Wind wind turbine can directly reduce and combat this. By creating approximately 30,000KW of electricity every year, a turbine can generate enough clean energy, to make up for the carbon footprint created by heating, cars, aeroplanes and other sources of carbon fuel based emissions.
A single Gaia Wind 11KW turbine will eradicate the carbon foot print of a four person household completely. The turbine has two wings,and a temperature range of -20 degrees centigrade to 40 degrees centigrade. It also requires 3.o metres per second of wind speed to start rotating, in a clockwise direction, and down wind. This turbine is powered by an Asychronous induction generator.
A grid connected wind turbine is available, when the turbine is linked up to the electrical outlet at the customers home. This allows the power supply to only be used by the owner of the turbine. The power left over can then be sold on to the electricity board.
A wind turbine can be used for direct heating. Where energy created by the turbine, but not used on site, can be diverted to hot water tanks, boilers, storage heaters or under floor heating. The excess power could then be sold to the electricity board also.
A stand alone wind turbine works in phase with with a diesel generator or a battery bank. They can generate clean energy to remote insallations that are not connected to a public grid.
Gaia Wind have also created cutting edge control software for the control of large turbines. They are equipped with numerous sensors which could assess the performance of the turbine where, through an Internet connection, it can be monitored on line. Where, with each Internet ready PC or PDA, you can keep abreast of how much energy is being produced and how well the Gaia Wind wind turbine is running.
