Assembly Technicians
Responsible for the assembly and testing of our wind turbine nacelles.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Assembly and testing of wind turbine nacelles and various sub-assemblies, using manufactured components from worldwide sources, in accordance with standard operating procedures and adhering to company’s QMS
- Meeting production targets and continually looking to improving
- Ensure all relevant health & safety practices are adhered to
- Participate in continuous improvement culture
- Ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and quality are maintained at all times
- Maintaining records and documentation, as appropriate to company’s QMS
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful applicants will ideally:
- Be qualified to an appropriate level in a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline, having completed a recognised Apprenticeship in engineering sector manufacturing or have demonstrable experience supported by relevant engineering qualifications
- Have experience in assembly of electro-mechanical equipment and working with production and quality operating procedures
- Be computer literate with working knowledge of standard Microsoft packages and ability to competently read CAD engineering drawings
- Have a strong methodical approach, keen eye for detail with the ability to work to and meet deadlines
- Have a flexible approach and experience of working within in a team environment
- Have been involved in continuous improvement activities
The successful candidates will receive in house product training, an attractive compensation package is on offer in line with relevant experience.
