Assembly Technicians

Responsible for the assembly and testing of our wind turbine nacelles.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Assembly and testing of wind turbine nacelles and various sub-assemblies, using manufactured components from worldwide sources, in accordance with standard operating procedures and adhering to company’s QMS
• Meeting production targets and continually looking to improving  
• Ensure all relevant health & safety practices are adhered to
• Participate in continuous improvement culture
• Ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and quality are maintained at all times
• Maintaining records and documentation, as appropriate to company’s QMS

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful applicants will ideally:

• Be qualified to an appropriate level in a Mechanical / Electrical Engineering discipline, having completed a recognised Apprenticeship in engineering sector manufacturing or have demonstrable experience supported by relevant engineering qualifications 
• Have experience in assembly of electro-mechanical equipment and working with production and quality operating procedures  
• Be computer literate with working knowledge of standard Microsoft packages and ability to competently read CAD engineering drawings  
• Have a strong methodical approach, keen eye for detail with the ability to work to and meet deadlines 
• Have a flexible approach and experience of working within in a team environment 
• Have been involved in continuous improvement activities 

The successful candidates will receive in house product training, an attractive compensation package is on offer in line with relevant experience.
