Benefiting from over 20 years of Danish wind turbine design experience, the Gaia-Wind 133 turbine has undergone extensive international quality and safety testing. It is UK Microgeneration Certfication Scheme (MCS) approved, has been rigorously tested in the USA, and has had Danish HBO certification for several years.
Gaia-Wind is the only small wind turbine manufacturer to have achieved the Danish HB Standards, which certify compliance with rigorous quality, safety and performance requirements.
Our horizontal wind turbine is protected against very high wind speeds by three levels of safety features including:
All of these measures ensure that should the wind reach speeds over 56mph, the rotor will automatically ‘park’ itself to avoid damage to your turbine.
